Select Citywalk Mall, New Delhi: Abu Dhabi Tourism & Culture Authority along with TUI, the leading leisure travel companies of the world, teamed up for staging one-month long destination campaign called Abu Dhabi Month, in New Delhi in order to boost the number of Indian visitors to UAE.
Primary Features of Abu Dhabi Month Campaign
• This is the first large-scale consumer focused activation campaign in order to rope in overseas guests to the Emirate.
• The campaign will run throughout August 2013 in dedicated TUI flagship store at Select Citywalk Mall, New Delhi.
• There will be a range of marketing as well as online activations staged, which will also include in-store branding and Abu Dhabi banners on TUI website.
Tourism Scenario of Indians in Abu Dhabi
The most important development in this regard has been enhanced air access from India to Abu Dhabi after the Jet-Etihad deal.
Abu Dhabi is seen as a preferred holiday destination by the Indians.
In first six months of the year 2013, around 80179 Indians stayed in 145 hotels as well as hotel apartments of Abu Dhabi. This was an increase of 22 percent from 2012. These Indians accounted for a total of 334238 guest nights, which is an increase of 43 percent from 2012. They stayed on an average of 4.17 nights, which is an increase of 17 percent.
