The Karnataka government on 30 June 2013 launched a health
information help line service Arogya Vani. This helpline is first of its
kind in the state. Infrastructure of this helpline service was set up
by a Hyderabad-based NGO Health Management and Research Institute. The
Call Centre has to provide information on the nearest Government

remedy related to any health problem, dial 104 to get health tips.
The main objective of this facility is to assist people living in rural or remote areas who face difficulty in accessing the service of qualified doctors and to provide information on any health problem.
